From Police Officer to The Blueprint Coaching: Finding My True Voice

Warning: This post discusses sensitive topics, including life and death.

In 2021, I started posting on social media because I saw a gap in content people truly needed—real conversations about the human condition and the relationships that define our lives.

But my journey to The Blueprint Coaching didn’t start with coaching.
It started in law enforcement.

Life in Law Enforcement Changes You

I didn’t become a police officer until my mid-thirties. At 33, I went back to school for my bachelor’s degree in criminal justice as a “non-traditional student.” Later, I earned my Master’s in Threat and Response Management from the University of Chicago in 2020.

Over the years, I served in SWAT, Crime Scene, and Field Training.
From the outside, it looks like action and adrenaline.
But the reality? You’re face-to-face with the rawest side of humanity—and it leaves a mark.

The most life-altering calls were the ones where someone decided they couldn’t stay on this earth anymore.
I’ll never forget the words in their notes:

  • “I’m sorry I’m not good enough.”

  • “I don’t want to disappoint anyone.”

  • “I can’t carry this shame anymore.”

  • And the one that hit the hardest: “I’ll show you.”

Each call chipped away at me. Over time, empathy turned to frustration and anger, and the images stuck in my mind—a mental Rolodex of moments I never asked for.

Those experiences forced me to rethink how people live, love, and carry pain.

TikTok, Instagram, Youtube, Facebook, Self-Discovery, and Finding My Voice

In 2021 I began talking about:

  • Anxious and avoidant relationships (patterns I saw on countless calls)

  • How we give away our power in relationships and life

  • The need to rebuild a healthy relationship with ourselves

Police work isn’t just writing tickets.
I spent more time in people’s homes, helping them navigate breakups, divorces, custody issues, suicide attempts, and mental health crises.

Even with crisis intervention training and mental health coursework, I kept seeing the same truth:
If we don’t understand ourselves and our relationships, we stay stuck in pain.

So I dove into my own self-discovery:

  • Modern thought leaders like Joe Dispenza

  • Ancient philosophy and mindset work

  • Nervous system regulation and self-awareness practices

The more I grew, the more my content connected.
Not because I was trying to be perfect—but because I finally let myself be real.
I stopped hiding. I stopped playing small.

Why I Built The Blueprint Coaching

The Blueprint Coaching was born from pain, reflection, and a commitment to growth.

I realized the core problem most people face:
We don’t know how to have a healthy relationship with ourselves.
We’ve been told:

  • “You’re too much.”

  • “You’re too intense.”

  • “You’re too hard to love.”

So we learn to play small to keep the peace.
We carry shame that was never ours to carry.
We give away our power to the expectations of others.

Through The Blueprint Coaching, I help people unlearn those patterns, rebuild confidence, and create relationships rooted in self-love and clarity.

When you’re solid in who you are:

  • Other people’s bad moods don’t shake you.

  • External approval stops controlling you.

  • You finally feel free to live fully as yourself.

You Are Enough

If you take anything from my journey, let it be this:

  • You are not too much.

  • You are enough. Always have been.

  • Everything you need to start your self-discovery journey is already inside you.

When you learn to sit with yourself—in your thoughts, in your silence—you find your true voice and your personal power.

That’s why I built The Blueprint Coaching.
To help you reclaim your confidence, rebuild your relationships, and finally live in alignment with who you really are.
